Sue trained as a primary school teacher and has taught in the Hawkes Bay, Auckland, Wellington and the Kapiti Coast. As well as being a teacher, Sue has also been an educator a the National Library in Wellington and Te Manawa in Palmerston North.
She is presently the Team Leader of Education and Public Programmes at Te Manawa.
Sue has always had an involvment in community based organisations and enjoys the interaction with the variety of people that this type of work entails.
She has been involved with Queen Elizabeth College, as a parent, since 2005 and has been on the Board of Trustees since 2006.
