Garden Design
An introduction to the practical ideas, design principles and management practices involved in creating a stimulating and satisfying environment around your home. Shows these in action and whets your appetite to get started! Good design comes from careful analysis and thorough planning, and you'll learn how to weigh up possibilities and limitations.

Garden for your Kitchen
Learn how to establish a vegetable garden with fresh herbs, fruit and nut trees to enable supply for your culinary needs. Discussions on garden routines, maintenance and pruning will be included. Course Fee: $40

Pruning
The pruning of a wide variety of garden plants will be considered, including roses, fruit trees, small fruits, vines and ornamental trees and shrubs. Some time will be spent in the classroom, discussing a wide variety of issues related to how, why and when to prune. Then we move on to practise in your gardens where there may be an opportunity for hands-on pruning, so bring secatuers.
