Ab Fab Cake Decorating for Beginners (NEW)
Come to this exciting course, be inspired and learn from Cath and Sue from Fairytale Cakes. You will learn basic cake decorating, chocolate finished cakes, cupcakes, royal icing work and icing decorations. Most ingredients supplied including a starter kit to the value of $65.00. Course Fee: $150

Ab Fab Christmas Theme (NEW COURSE) Come to this exciting course and learn from Cath and Sue from Fairytale Cakes. The course will cover cupcakes, biscuits and truffle pudding, decorating Christmas cakes, making Christmas novelty icing decorations, and Christmas dessert ideas. All ingredients will be provided. Better Baking (NEW)
Back to the traditional baking that everyone loves. In this course you'll learn the ins and outs of everyday baking. Classic chocolate cake, muffins, biscuits, cupcakes, etc. No fuss baking, easy one bowl recipes, quick to prepare, yummy tasting and fun to make. Most ingredients provided. Course Fee: $70

Cheese making for beginners (NEW TUTOR)
Interested in making your own cheese? In this one day workshop you will learn the basic techniques for making soft cheeses such as mozzarella, halloumi and ricotta. You will be sent a short list of basic items (such as a large saucepan) and ingredients prior to the course. At the end of the course you'll take home your own cheeses to enjoy. Course Fee: $ 55

Cooking with Herbs
A hands on approach that will see you participating in each session to utilise herbs in a range of prepared dishes. Learn how to prepare food, which incorporates traditional combinations of herbs and food and how herbs can enhance food preparation and nutritional content. Your tutor is a professional herb grower and writer. All ingredients will be supplied. Course Fee: $55

Healthy Mediterranean Cooking
Explore the tastes of the Mediterranean! We will make a variety of meals inspired by the flavours of countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Greece and Morocco. Each night's menu will focus on a specific country.

Indian Cooking (NEW TUTOR)
Delicious, authentic recipes that add variety and entertainment to your diet, making classic recipes to entice your palate. Authentic cooking techniques and side dishes are an important part of this course. Indian food is fragrant and appealing to the eye. Course Fee: $70

Indian Cooking - Vegetarian (NEW) Indian Cooking is not only about butter chicken and beef vindaloo. There is an array of unique vegetarian delicacies belonging to many regions of India . In addition to a few of the well-known dishes, this course introduces you to some South Indian specialities. Course Fee: $ 70
Introduction to New Zealand Wines
An introductory course to develop and study wine appreciation. Learn about the varieties of grapes, their style, cultivation and how wine is made, kept, served and what goes best with what. A wine trail at additional cost will be arranged via the tutor. NB: For over 18’s only. Course Fee: $60

Introduction to Wines of the World
In this course you will have the opportunity to taste and discuss wines produced outside of New Zealand.

Italian Bakery
Learn how to make delicious Italian breads such as foccacia and ciabatta - and a few sweet treats like panforte as well. Leave the class with bread to take home, and the skills to make it again by yourself. All ingredients are provided, so throw out your bread machine and get your hands dirty!

Italian Cooking - Summer
Create and taste a variety of food from around Italy, from delicious pesto to light summer risottos, gorgeous vegetable dishes and tasty desserts. You'll also learn how to make your own pasta from scratch, as well as traditional pizza. The class includes a supermarket trip on the first night to discuss ingredients. Buon appetito!

Japanese Cooking
Japanese food is well known as healthy. It is not only healthy but very tasty! Learn how to cook Japanese food, and tips on creating your own Japanese fusion style cooking. The course will include a supermarket visit on the first night to aid in food selection.

Latin American Cuisine
Experience learning quick and simple Latin American recipes in a fun environment. This introduction to basic Latin American cuisine will cover dishes such as empanadas, arroz con pollo, enchiladas, pesacado en salsa picante, etc, plus recipes for different salsas to accompany your dishes.

Malaysia Truly Asia
Land of many cultures, Malays, Chinese, Indians and other ethnic groups, Malaysian cooking offers a wide palate of satisfaction. It's a mixture of sweet, savoury, hot, spicy, a concoction of ingredients, you name it. Make it your pastime and acquire these tastes, there is always a first time. Course Fee: $55

An introduction to this delightfully aromatic form of cooking that will excite your senses! Healthy, tasty recipes provided, which will include yoghurt, salad, dips, fatosh, couscous, kofta, baklava and many more.

Thai Cooking
Learn the basics of Thai cuisine, the importance of the 5 basic flavours: salt, sweet, fragrant, sour and hot. Ingredients will be provided. At the end of the course students will be given a small "starter pack" of essential ingredients enabling them to make a minimum of three other Thai dishes.
