Digital Photography I
A picture may still be worth a thousand words, but today's digital cameras make images that often stretch reality. Today cameras have lots of new buttons to push and many have names that encourage you to leave the camera set on Auto. Does this sound like you?
In this course we'll unlock the potential in your camera. We'll look beyond the 'Auto' setting and introduce you to cool new features and opportunities that let you take great photos. We'll lift the lid on strange sounding terms, look at good photographic technique, lighting, composition and apply it all to the digital world of making memories.
The second half of the course shows you how to effectively store and handle your digital files. All participants will learn how to prepare images for both printing and emailing to labs or friends. In the latter weeks we stretch both you and the truth. You'll learn to manipulate your images. This is a complex process and you will need good computer competency skills. The novice computer user may be out of their depth here. Course Fee: $ 60
