Queen Elizabeth College is a co-educational school, with a student centred philosophy, which values whānau, and acceptance of individual differences. Our school is sited on large attractive grounds, with excellent facilities. Our students make significant contribution to the school community, especially in the area of sport.

Farewells to Staff

Our school farewelled a number of teachers at the end of the year.

  • Christian Stafford who was teaching English and ESOL from Term Three.
  • Ali Martin who was teaching Literacy and Numeracy as well as English from Term Two.
  • Mikala Triggs who has been teaching Physical Education, Health and Kete. Mikala leaves to join her husband in Auckland.
  • Bronwyn Boddy who was teaching Mathematics. Bronwyn has accepted a position at Cornerstone Christian School.
  • Jamie Wainohu who was teaching Te Reo Maori and the lead teacher for the Reo Rua will be teaching at St Peter's next year.
  • Christine Matthews who was out H.O.D of Mathematics will be at Feilding High School next year.
We wish all of these staff all of the best and we wish to thank them for their contribution to Queen Elizabeth College.
