Learning

Here at Queen Elizabeth College, we strive for excellence by ensuring that all students receive the support they need to achieve their academic potential.

We believe that success is an attitude – so we provide an environment that fosters pride in personal achievement. We do this through offering:

  • Professional and caring staff
  • Small class sizes that maximise learning
  • Well-resourced facilities
  • A range of courses to meet interests

New Zealand secondary school education and qualifications

Our Year 9 and 10 students complete a core course of subjects with opportunities to study subjects of interest. Year 11 students complete a course of study to achieve their NZ NCEA (link to NCEA Information) level 1. Year 12 and 13 students then have the flexibility to choose their subjects aligned with their individual needs and possible career choices.

Community education for adult students

Queen Elizabeth College also offers opportunities for adult learning through our night classes. To find out more, please read about our community education (link to Community Education) offerings, or enrol with us here (link to Enrolment Forms).
