Computers - Getting Started
Overcome your fear of using a personal computer. A practical introduction if you know little or nothing about computers, have one and you're having problems, or are suddenly faced with one at work. A course that will help you from finding the 'on' and 'off' switch and a whole lot more in between. You will also learn basic operations in Windows using MS Word®, MS Excel® and the Internet. Databases
An introductory short course to help you get started in using MS Access®, a powerful database tool that helps accomplish a wide range of personal and business tasks. Covers database design, entry and storage of data, manipulation and calculations and generating reports. On enrolment you will need to order and pay for a textbook ($50*). Please ensure you enrol at least a week prior to the course start date so this can be available for your first class.

Computer Dynamics
A comprehensive course where you will learn to use Microsoft Microsoft Publisher® to produce materials with texts and graphics, and Microsoft Powerpoint® to make presentations. This course will also include skills in maintaining your computer, and information on antivirus software and firewalls.

Spreadsheets
Get started using Excel®, Microsoft's powerful spreadsheet tool (used for number work), which helps produce a wide range of personal and business tasks. The course has been kept short and sharp to enable you to learn as much or as little as you need to know. This course includes getting started, workbook skills, formulas, formatting and charts. The current textbook (cost $50*) can be ordered at enrolment time and will be available at your first class.

Spreadsheets - Advanced
Do you want to become more proficient at using Excel®? If you’ve got a good working knowledge of the package or have completed our MS Excel® course and want to learn more, then this course is for you. It assumes a good working knowledge of Excel®. The optional course textbook is the same as for the first course. Course Fee: $55

Web Design - Introduction
Do you want to learn how to produce your own professional and effective web site? You will learn to design a web site, navigate a web site, apply formatting and themes, link pages with hyperlinks, create tables and then publish it to the web. You will be using web publishing tools. Computer proficiency and practise between classes is necessary to reinforce understanding.

Word Processing
Learn how word processing expands your horizons, so you can easily use your computer to produce professional looking documents. You will learn your way around your computer and master the basics of word processing using Microsoft Word®, the most popular word processor of all.
