Coastguard NZ Boat Master

A comprehensive course for boaties with some experience or existing knowledge. Applies to a wide range of vessels including yachts, launches and power boats. Students must have completed Marine UHF and Day Skipper classes to enrol. If you do not already have the text "Safety in Small Craft" this can be purchased from your tutor.

The course fee must be paid to register your place in the course. The course fee covers your workbook and the CBES exam fee. Course Fee: $ 170

An introductory course for all involved in boating. Suitable for owners, crew and family members. Applies to a large range of vessels including yachts, launches, power boats, dinghies, jet skis, kayaks, etc.

The course fee must be paid to register your place in the course. The fee includes payment for a workbook and the CBES exam.

Coastguard NZ Marine VHF Radio Operator

A legal requirement for all users of Marine UHF Radio. This one day course covers all the operating and distress procedures, and will give you important tips about improving your safety. The cost of the exam is included in your course fee.
